Office of Local Business Development
The Office of Local Business Development (OLBD) certifies Local, Small, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (LSDBEs) for agency contracting set-asides. OLBD works with OCP to match small, disadvantaged businesses with contracting opportunities with the DC government and elsewhere. OLBD also fosters economic development of DC's small business community through technical assistance, business seminars, conferences, exhibits, and outreach forums, among other programs.

DC Chamber of Commerce Business Resource Center
Businesses that seek technical assistance related to doing business in the District may contact the DC Chamber of Commerce Business Resource Center (DCCCBRC). DCCCBRC, an initiative of the DC Chamber of Commerce, supports businesses with counseling, mentoring, training, access to capital, and a computer lab. DCCCBRC operates a US Small Business Administration (SBA) Sub-Center to provide access to SBA programs for local businesses.
