Complete a Statement of Partnership Authority*
to register a general partnership in DC. This form will establish your partnership. Many partnerships work with an attorney to develop
the Statement of Partnership Authority.
Choose a registered agent—a person (often an attorney) who will serve as the point of contact between your business and
DC—and complete the Written Consent to Act as Registered Agent*.
